Baltimore, Md. (January, 22, 2026) — The Fivestar College Lacrosse Live Series is proud to announce that its third iteration will feature a premier matchup between Duke University and Cornell University, two of the most accomplished programs in college lacrosse. The highly anticipated contest will take place on April 11 at LIU’s Brookville campus, bringing elite Division I lacrosse to the heart of Long Island. Ranked preseason No. 11 (Duke) and No. 4 (Cornell) by Inside Lacrosse, the game continues the series’ tradition of showcasing top-tier matchups on a neutral-site stage.

“Anytime you have the opportunity to play a program like Cornell, it’s a great test for your team,” said Duke head coach John Danowski. “Playing on a neutral site in front of a passionate lacrosse community challenges our players and helps prepare us for the level of competition we’ll see throughout the season.”

Team 91 Long Island will serve as the official Club Sponsor for the event.

The College Lacrosse Live Series returns to Long Island University for the first time since 2024, where the Cornell vs Notre Dame matchup drew 7,480 attendees. Tickets for the Duke vs Cornell game are now available through the official event website. Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early for what is sure to be an electrifying and historic game.
